Because of a mother’s care.
I have many sweet memories
of her always being there.

Mom helped me know Jesus,
She asked Him to save my soul.
She lives the Christian life
Like no one else I know.

Mother delights in helping people
With her special gentle touch.
Always reaching out in love
and shares whether little or much.

No one is as special as mother
So very bright is her light.
She is a model for her family
On how to live upright.

Mother leaves a trail behind her
Of love and faithfulness,
and a path for us to follow
Because she gives her very best.

Mother’s faith is quite evident
She is always ready to forgive.
You can know mother walks with Jesus
Because of the way she lives.
