~*~ Was It A Dream or Reality! ~*~

God does give Dreams and Visions for your future.

Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and he shall give thee the desire
of thine heart. Commit thy way
unto the Lord; trust also in him;
and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:45

I have seen that smile before full of life
and laughter. Eyes blue as the ocean
inviting as cornflowers in spring.

Was it a Dream or Reality?

On a lovely summer’s eve, there was a band
concert in the park. Julie and I took a
blanket, refreshments, to hear them play
all the standards of yesterday. Someone came
up behind me, covered my eyes and spoke with
such gentleness, “Guess who?”

Was that you?

Beautiful day for a drive, I decided to take
a ride to one of my favorite spots at
Watch Hill a hamlet in Rhode Island. Along
the beach were quaint shops, homemade ice cream,
unique, finely crafted jewelry, even a
merry-go-round. Around the bend tucked in
an out of the way nook, was an art gallery.
Local artist were shown here along with
gifted painters. As I stepped through the
carved doorway, I saw that same figure of a
man, deep in thought, gazing up at a
seascape done in oils.

So real ~ Was it a Dream or Reality?

Julie stopped by for a cup of tea and a chat,
her usual Saturday afternoon ritual and
the doorbell rang. “Ill go”, she said,
as I continued to prepare the tea
and refreshments. She came
bouncing back, her arms full of white roses
trimmed along the edge with pink. “Just
look at these roses and the smell,
just heavenly!” Open the card Jul, I’m almost
finished with the try”. “Oh, it’s from
him, your both so much in love!”

Was that you?

“O Lord, is this the one you have hand picked, sent
Special delivery? Is this the one that I have asked for?
Has this been a dream, or have I had a glimpse of him?

You told me I would know him by the Spirit,
that when we meet, we would be smitten. Has this
been a dream you have put in my
heart, a gift from my Father’s hand?
In your season, as You said a dream will
become a reality.

A Spiritual dream from My Father’s
Hand can be more real than what you
See with the natural eye.

And it shall come to pass in the last
days, said God, I will pour out of
my Spirit open all flesh; and your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams.
