I will like to dedicate this piece to all those who are passing through hard times, those who think that the words spoken by God concerning them is false, those who are tired of living the Christian life, and those whose lives are going down under.

The Word…
I shall not be quoting scriptures but I shall be speaking the mind of God through the experience I had last year December.
On the 7th of November, the LORD impressed it on my heart to seek him for 30 days starting on the 15th of November to the 15th of December. When such words come to me I know the LORD has wonderful things in store for me-But this time I was wrong, or so I thought. God had made a contest with the devil over my life and my faith was to be tried and stretched.

I got myself ready and took off to the mountain that the LORD showed me in a town some 45-50km away from where I stay in a place called Zungaru, a town here in Niger State -Nigeria.
I was excited and ready to pray. The first 15 days was wonderful as the lord kept showing me his power and how much he loved me.

Your Life maybe full of wonderful prospects and you may have ideas. Some of you have heard words of prophesy concerning your ministries and may have seen the miraculous in your life and all of a sudden it all went away with the wind; confusion sets in, you are sick in your body and your sickness has defiled medical science and the ministry that you feel the LORD has given you has been cut short, your family that was once lovely is now a living hell, you cannot control your kids, your marriage is falling apart, YOU DON’T HAVE TO GIVE UP NOW brothers and sisters, this is the time to tell Jesus you love HIM, this is the time to prove your loyalty to the cross.

The last 15 day he gave me visions about my ministry, and I saw angels ministering to me. Little did I know that it was a preparation for the trial of my faith.

The LORD spoke to me in clear words in my spirit and reaffirms the covenant we had-the covenant of Divine health, and told me to tell the Church of this covenant in the cross over night which is the 31st of December.

I got back with might, I got back with confidence and for the remaining days to round off the year 2008, the responsibility to run the church was delivered into my hands as fresh fire was breathing in my spirit and the LORD was confirming the words of his servant.

Pause…
The LORD will restore you and give you the strength to look beyond the present trials of your faith into the seed of your breaking forth in Jesus Name. For the scriptures teach that with the temptation there is a way of escape. Your eyes will be opened today to the way of escape Amen.

31st December 2008, the time of my testing came. I was to handle the cross over night and the day before the lord spoke to me and instructed me in detail how the service should go.

The theme for the year 2009 for the church is Divine Open Doors, so the LORD said to me wash the feet of my people, let them eat of my table and set a prophetic door, let them walk through it. I obeyed the voice of God. But first I told my senior pastor and he said the LORD laid it in his heart too. A few pastor friends of mine called me and said “Pastor O’sam, we are crossing over with divine health, tell your people that!” it confirmed the words of the LORD on the mountain days before.

3pm on the 31st I felt a slight head ache, I prayed and forgot about it, but it was there and growing. I had to ask the LORD and said “LORD did I go wrong in anyway, did I not hear your voice on the mount and were those ministers also liars if I was?” But the head ache became a fever and by 10pm when the program started, I felt like going home to rest, I was tired and so weak.

The senior pastor prayed for me and I still did not get any better. I led the service, washed the feet of the people, as God had instructed, they partook of the communion table, walked through an open door prophetically. But I was sick! I laid hand on others and God touched them but why did HE let me suffer this sickness?

You may be wondering why you are passing through the problems in your life right now, you may be laid off from work, you may be bankrupt, you may be in debt, you may be hurt and in pains of sickness. The LORD is extending HIS hand of healing upon you right now. That’s why he asked me to write this article he wants to touch you NOW, he wants to heal you NOW, he wants to restore you NOW, and he wants to be the love of your life NOW only let him.

But after 10days of darkness and doubt and pain and sickness, the LORD brought me out, strong bold and with the power of the Holy Ghost anew for His work. Hallelujah to Jesus.

Prayer of faith…
If you are ready to let God have his way and heal you say this simple prayer with me:
Heavenly father, I know you care so much for me, I believe you sent Jesus your son to bear in his body my hurt, my sickness, my rejection, my debt, my joblessness my worry my pains, so that I don’t have to bear them any more. Your holy spirit is moving in me now to make all things new in me. Thank you Jesus, thank You LORD, in Jesus name Amen.
