So many peole have such a hard time trying to understand why God doesn't answer their prayers all the time and why he doesn't answer immediately.
He does! It is just sometimes the answer is NO, for our own good.
Sometimes He keeps silent to see if it is just a passing whim or if you are in earnest about your prayer. In His silence He weights it out whether it is a good thing for you to have or not, like the good Father that He is.
Sometimes God answers your prayers piece-meal (a little at a time). He does this in order for us to appreciate more fully His benefits. He knows that if He were to give us everything we ask for everytime we ask that we can become spoiled brats, and He is not about to allow that.
But rest assured He always answers every prayer!

I look at what we all call the "simple-minded" or retarded folks and I see their complete dependency on God and those caretakers around them and I am blessed.
They may be simple-minded or retarded but i think they are the ones who truly got it right. They rely on God like a child and Jesus told us that "unless we become as a little child we shall in no wise see the kingdom of God."

So who really has it right?
Is it the leaders of the world?
Is it the mega ministries with all their money? Is it the Doctors of Divinity with the in depth knowledge of the Word and their diplomas?
Or is it truly the simple-minded that are never troubled with the cares and burdens of this world that devote their time and lives to being child-like dependents on God?
Makes you want to say Hmmmmmm doesn't it?
