I. Wild Child
Wild child, I go on,
wanting more than I could ever be.
More than what I am
What could I be?

Wish my heart to stand still.
Can’t reach past beyond my known sin,
beyond this mortal as me
Here I will stay. I can’t but wait.
If help comes,…
here I will be!

II. The Awakening-God Song

III. Revelation
Working of God
seeks to renew my whole life
to regain that which is His, which I am
All awakening, all restoring me.

Working of man,
crying out from his hell set aflame
by his blindness not seeing the warmth of God’s being
promised for his trusting, his reaching so clearly.

History of man: driven far from His path.
Fear released in inhibition, so that all is left for me
all is left for me,
all is left for me
all this left for me-now!

IV. Wild Child’s Response
Master of the heavens.
Songs are sung about You.
Push through dark lies,
deliver me of this existence.
Let me be direct,
as I see Your host assemble.

Master of light,
all pure grace,
as Your truth so divides.
My all-encircling Lord,
O, be my blessed One,
awaken in my heart.

Master, O my soul, set to touch.
the immutable One.
Ask away,
that you’d make contact
with Him Who’s clear.
Be honest with the Truth.
Have no doubt, no doubt!

Master of time,
please set sail.
over my own heart.
And as I look forever closer,
shall I now bid,
“Farewell, farewell!”

V. Consummation
Beloved child to go on
‘fore the Son, Whom you are now seeing,
such a mortal as me
Here you will be.

Now your heart will stand still,
reaching out to touch Whom you’re seeing
Such a mortal as me
Here you will be.

Once the time I ran away,
turned around and You were standing close to me.

Like the time I ran away,
turned around and You were standing close to me.
