Betrayal
Why did you not
guard my heart as my friend.
You knew me well, no mask did
I wear.

Honor
Always honored
you, encouraged, believed
in who you were. Held your dreams with
great care.

Always
protected you
against the world with prayer.
Stand up for you against a crowd
of wolves.

Why friend
could you not do
the same for me knowing
my heart? Were you afraid of men…
were you?

Swayed by
the opinions
of others you listened
disregarding our friendship
we lost!

Broken
hearted you did
not listen with your heart.
Did not stand up for me.. afraid
you broke.


Forgive
I will for you
are valuable to
me.. heartbroken you didn’t
value me.
