Healing

If I were to ask you today “do you need a miracle” what would you say? What kind of miracle would you need? Miracles come in many types, none greater than another. Miracles of healing, or perhaps a financial break-through, a lost member of the family finding Christ, what is your need today, and do you have the faith to see it come to past. Understanding that prayer is top importance, but there are times in our lives where God calls us to action. The Bible reads in Mark 16:
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Reading that just as it states in the King James Version, we see that the “true” Christian is truly empowered, yet note one thing it reads “them that believe”. Do you believe you can receive your needed miracle? Also note in this verse that it reads “They shall lay hands” meaning an action, a verb. Meaning there are times when we must take the action. Believing not in ourselves but rather of the power of God that flows through us by his Holy Spirit, miracles can happen. If we simply can believe in the Word we read. Many of us as Christians have seemed to have lost the reality of the power of God working thru his people. Understanding the events around us can cause confusion and distraction. People’s choices inversely affect miracles by their doubt. Please note that there are times of course when faith along can bring miracles such as in Matthew 8 verse 13
“And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”
Here again what does it say, but “as thou hast believed”. He believed that the healing power of Jesus would indeed heal his servant. Now understanding that in today’s world we have many that would try to present themselves as men and women of God, yet surely are not. How can we tell these true Christians from those that perhaps are not as they speak? The Word of God says we can tell by the fruits of the spirit. In Galatians 5 we read:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance……..
So we see here that miracles are real. We see them through-out the Bible. The answer is simply to believe, and be willing to step out and ask for your miracle. God knows what is best for all of us, and it is his will above all things. He is faithful to answer to those that call upon his name. Please when you get time, read the above scriptures in more detail. Know that the miracle working power of God still works thru his people today. Believe it and step out and take what God has to offer. Your Miracle is merely a step away.
