Lord, your favors towards me are numerous
My mind reels each time I begin to count
For your blessings outnumber my imagined loss
And I’m still counting

Counting my blessings in the valley of shadows
Shadows cast by the fear of the future
But your light shines through heaven’s open windows
And I’m still counting

My body and mind wrestles with sin’s crippling hold
Each time my strength begins to wane I begin to sing
Suddenly, you cuddle me in your arms, in your love-hold
And I’m still counting

Lord, your strength outlasts my weakness
When I feel I can no longer hold on
Me, with your blessings you tenderly caress
And Lord, your blessings, I’m still counting
