That Place
Do You Want To Go?

I am not talking about going to Heaven, but bringing Heaven to you while you yet live here on the earth.

In Psalm 53 David talked about the fool that said in his heart, there is no God. He also talked about how corrupt they are and the abominable things they were capable of doing and there was none that did good. Look around us today, in America. Do we yet not understand that we should seek the Lord while he may be found and forsake our ways for his? Even the once born again believer has gone back to the forward ways they were once delivered from, they have become filthy. Their iniquity is great and they do these things with the knowledge that they are doing wrong. How could they? Do they really know God as they proclaim to?

I think not. How convenient it is to forget the ruins of selfishness. These believers selfishly think only of their own self need and wants.

Obadiah 3-4, the pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwells in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high that saith in his heart, who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thos exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.

Luke 14:11, for whosoever exalted himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.

The things that we as born again believers should forget, they are not forgetting. they are not casting down imaginations and high things that have exalted its self against the knowledge of God, nor are they bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. All glorying that should go to God is going to man and what we have accomplished on this side of life. The Bible in Galatians 6:3, if a man think himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. So many Christians boast and brag about things and is proud to the point of arrogance, which should not come out of the mouth of the born again believer.

Then there are times in the life of every born again believer that they all would love to forget. We also are guilty of forgetting when we accuse each other. We forget that at one time and still times now that we all have sinned and fallen short of God’s grace. We all have not always heard the Word and obeyed it right then. It is not the hearers of the Word that is just before God, but the doers are justified. It shows that it is written in their hearts when they set to do what the Word says. The conscience bear record as well as their thoughts, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth will speak.

How will we get to that place? How do you get to that place? It will not be in your own strength, for no foolishness, envy, or covetousness will get you there.

It will take a clean heart and following the ordered steps of Jesus.
It takes going to that place that you come to know God and him alone.
There is a place of faithfulness you must come to where no one can penetrate your God ordained purpose in knowing who you are in Christ.
There is a place you must come to where you are no longer barren in spirit but producing in the Spirit what God need you to produce.
Last but not least you must come to a place of praise, where no matter what happens in life you will not lose your praise, but will learn to praise God out of your Spirit and not of yourself.

That place, do you want to go?
