On Bended Knees
I fall down on my knees
Where my Lord hears my pleas
I lay all my burdens down
And take up my robe and crown
On bended knees where I pray
Letting my heart have its say
To my Father I lay my heart bare
Giving Him my worries and cares
On bended knees, I need to be
Before the world gets hold of me
Remove these sins from my heart
Forgive me and give me a new start
On bended knees, I am humbled
Loaded down with my heart’s troubles
Taking them all before the throne
Unleashing my tormented soul’s groan
On bended knees before my Lord
In the presence of the One I adore
Broken and humbled in His presence
Before His glory my heart repents
On bended knees I wish to stay
In service to Christ all of my days
What better place can I find?
When troubled with the enemy’s binds
