Flame and burgundy curtains
Flicker, swirl in a salted breeze
That is nearly as soft, warm as
The pillows of satin upon which we lay.

Beneath a window open to the night
And rhythm of ocean breaking onto violet sand,
The smoke of my cigarette mixes with
Lavender perfume of a new lit candle.

In this dancing orb of velvet light
My sight intoxicates my soul
With the fluid curves of a lascivious bottle.

I drink your champagne skin,
Your parted lips a vin noir,
And I never forget the bitter taste of your chardonnay eyes.

Dropping my lids, I inhale,
And with laudanum's effect
My senses succumb to the best things
of temporal design
Providence offers a man who shamefully cares
For nothing more than opulent existence.

Though, my life is costly,
My soul is cheap,
It matches the value of my will,
And my choices.
