The Abortionist

It was a hot 106-degree day in Seminole, Oklahoma. A Seminole, Oklahoma abortionist had died that afternoon and had arrived at the gates of heaven where Saint Peter stood guard. Saint Peter opened the gates then took the practitioner to Jesus.

Jesus asked him, “What have you done on earth to merit entry into heaven?”

The abortionist thought for a moment then responded, “A week ago, I gave a dollar to a sick looking bag lady while in Oklahoma City.”

Jesus asked Saint Peter to check this out in the record. Within an instant Peter returned to the Lord affirming that the abortionist’s story was true.

“Well, that is really not sufficient to get you into heaven”, responded Jesus.

“Whoa, Lord!” responded the abortionist, “There’s more! Ten years ago I gave a woman seeking an abortion a free abortion then I gave her a dollar to get home and rest up.”

Jesus glanced over at Saint Peter who nodded that this was also true as well.

Jesus then gave the abortionist a sidelong glance then said to Saint Peter, “Peter give him back his two bucks and tell him to go to Hell. I never knew him. For he never confessed to being a sinner nor did he accept Me by faith as Lord.”
