IT HURTS

It hurts me as a believer, when
Friends and family spurn
The silent call from heaven,
Turn ye, turn ye, turn!

Clouds burst forth with raindrops,
The tear's of God above
As compassion flows from Heaven,
Descending to us with love

He pours out all the blessings
That we have below
Though men still mock and spurn Him,
How He loves them so

His Spirit moves amongst them
To give a gentle tug
Those that seek Him early,
Receive an embracing hug

Life is not just breathing,
And putting in the day
But knowing Who gives the breath of life,
Who is our Eternal Stay

Sin clouds each soul with darkness
Until Jesus brakes that spell
He brakes the bands of sin asunder,
Delivering us from Hell

Oh hasten, hasten to Him,
Seek while He may be found
Have your flight booked for Heaven,
Prepare for Higher Ground

Needed.........your admission,
"Lord, I've lost my way"
"I ask You now, come into my life...
"Be my Eternal Stay!"
