I have a special place now and then I like to go,
To fantasize, dream many dreams.
A quiet simple place not so far away,
Though far away it seems.
Remote from schedules, clocks, and phones,
Where there are no demands,
When there I can discover,
Exactly who I am.
A place where I reflect upon
What has been, what is, what might be,
Where all is perfect with the world,
A special place to me.

It is a place where I can talk to God,
And pray for my salvation.
I pray for peace and freedom from strife,
For everyone in our great nation.
And the struggles now imposed upon,
The people through out our lands,
I pray for God to see us through,
To guide us with His hands.

A place where God will hear my voice,
And help me understand,
That there will be a grand tomorrow,
And we will rejoice and be glad.
When we all come together,
There will be peace in this place,
When we join our King in Heaven,
Greet our Lord Jesus face to face.
