Open your heart to Jesus
His cry unto the world.
Dormant hearts, wait to start.
Yet to be unfurled.

Beginning with the seed of Faith,
we read His Holy Word,
Go to church each Sunday,
hoping to be heard.

Practicing obedience,
yet miss the biggest part.
The greatest of Commandments,
Give The Lord your heart.

He knows when every sparrow falls.
every hair upon each head,
Still not enough to Trust Him.
we close our hearts instead.

He bled and died upon the Cross.
Grace pours down like rain.
Every time we forge ahead.
The nails drive in again.

He yearns,’Be still, and listen.’
Lay bare your heart for me.
‘I am the way, the truth, the life.’
The truth will set you free.
