The LORD (Yahweh) Is Present

It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there(Ezekiel 48:35).

Our God is ever present. He is everywhere at the same time. There is no place without God. From the highest of heavens to the lowest seas. He cannot arrive late at a place, for He is there already. When other people forsake you, you can find in God a friend at all times. Wherever you are, you can enjoy the presence of the God Who is There. At midnight, He is there. In joy and in pain He is there with you.

When the floods lift up their voice and their waves, and you think you will drown, you can, by faith, turn to the One who is with you all the time, and who has the power to calm the waves of your life. He is higher than the noise of many waters. He is mightier than the waves of the sea. When plans are being made behind your back to destroy you, ask Yahweh Shammah Who is there, to confound them. When you feel you are alone and the road seems so lonely, you can trust in Yahweh Shammah The LORD Is Present. He will never leave you. His company will give you a sense of safety and belonging. He is the God Who is everywhere.

When you are right in the valley of death, uncertainty and danger, His presence is all you need to assure you that all is well. He will go through the journey with you. He is by your side right now. His name is Yahweh Shammah, The LORD is Present.

PRAISE
Yahweh Shammah, the LORD Who is Present, I praise You. You are the God who is everywhere how great You are! Thank You for being with me all the time. Thank You for I am never alone. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your abiding presence.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, help me to know that You are always by my side. Whatever I need You to be, You will ever be there for me. When others leave me, may I always be mindful of the fact that You will not leave me or forsake me. In difficult situations grant me the serenity to know that Your presence will be there to meet my needs and take me through the storm.

CONFESSION
Lord, You are the God Who is Present. Wherever I go, I can enjoy Your abiding presence. When I go through the valley of death, You are there by my side. I will be full of joy for in your presence there is fullness of joy. When plans are being made behind my back, You are there to confound them on my behalf. There is no place without You. With You by my side, I will fear no evil.

When abandoned or alone
The LORD is there by your side
When you feel emptiness within
Turn to the Friend that sticks closer than a brother
He will fill your emptiness with His presence
There is no place beyond His reach
There is no place without Him
Know that the LORD Is Present
