God's protection

"Lord you've kept me through another night. Stay with me through the day, You I do invite.

Take my hand and lead me, or I may lose my way. If I get too far behind, please don't let me stray."

The road was long and broken, temptations lay in wait. On the path before me, a new way He did create.

"You've cared and protected through another day. Keep me through the darkness, stay not faraway.

If in the night You call for me and I do not hear. Don't leave me all alone, I need You always near.

Come a little closer speak real loud and clear. Take me with You, before You disappear."

I hear my name He's calling, "Protect me Lord I pray." I looked at the footprints, He's carrying me all the way.
