If Christ is within you,
Start living an anew;
With an outlook on life,
Well beyond the strife.

For your body is dead,
Because of sin instead;
That fills your heart and soul,
Remaining in control.

But life is the Spirit,
That comes to inhabit;
To guide your consciousness,
When filled with righteousness.

So we are in a debt,
From the Spirit we get;
In feeling new and fresh,
But never from the flesh.

For it is only sin,
With pleasure of the skin;
Wasting your life away,
Causing you to decay.

All those who are guided,
By the Spirit bided;
Are also sons of God,
And cleansed where they are flawed.
