IT IS GOOD TO PRAY

Prayer is good and it is even better to pray the right way but most importantly, IT IS GOOD TO TAKE ALL THINGS TO THE LORD IN PRAYER!

What really is prayer?

How can we be sure we have actually prayed?

Prayer is communion and communication with our maker in supplication, in worship, in thanksgiving and adoration of Him

Prayer is a process that helps us to feel confident in the knowledge that there is someone that we can run to and cry to our heart's content without feeling self conscious or inhibited in speech.

In praying we receive healing, for our bodies and soul.

When we learn to truly commute with our God, we get to a stage of confidence that we shall receive answers to those prayers especially if they are supplications.
This means that whichever way or whenever the answer comes we accept without hesitation or disappointment about the response because, we are sure that the BEST is what He has replied with.

Abraham showed this in his walk with the Almighty (he never argued with nor questioned God, whenever he received an instruction, he just simply jumped to attention!) and he received responses that classified him as a friend of the Almighty and a father in the HALL OF FAITH

The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God and was not, this means that he was translated when the Lord was ready to take him home because he was faithful

Elisha asked for the eyes of his servant to be opened to see the shield God had put around them to confirm that as he Elisha had spoken, he had no need of fear of the enemy, that seemed to threaten and overwhelm them because he communed regularly with his God and knew what was to be expected of the same.

When you look back and count your blessings even if it seems that life has dealt you the hardest blow among ALL God's creatures, you will see that you still have a lot to thank Him for and when you look around you and see other people's situations and life's threats you WILL indeed thank Him for your portion AND HOW He swiftly response in His wisdom, looking back at some cases and situations that you found yourself in because if he had answered the way you desperately requested at the time, the results would not be what you have today.

It is good to pray, nothing is too trivial to talk to your maker about and nothing is too far-gone to involve him in.

I have realized that He loves our conversations in thoughts and speech that we have with Him, and indeed when the solution is not immediate (for His own GOOD reason) He comforts us and soothes our pain as we wade together with Him, through the stormy waters.

He has promised that they shall not overflow us
