Adopted
You gave to me a brand new name
A name that lifts me up
You’ve hidden my sin and my shame
And let me drink from your cup.
You clothed me when I was naked
And sheltered me from the storm
You carry me now, near your heart
Keeping me safe and warm.
You hear my cries and see me smile
Walking beside me all the while
I write this now…humbly aware
That you, Lord Jesus
Answered my
Prayer.

Reminds me of the old song, theres a new name written down in glory and its mine. Very beautiful poem.
