Down the hallowed halls of learning
Strides the proud humanistic man;
Dressed to kill---his speech is charming---
He thinks the future’s in his hands.

He believes in evolution,
That Genesis is out of date,
Faith in Christ is mind pollution,
The Word of God is all mistakes.

Yet, he feigns religious leanings;
He doffs his hat at certain times---
Hypocrisy has no meaning;
Expedience dictates his lines.

Who is this man? He’s no stranger!
The latest batch of modern man!
All would be in mortal danger
If the future lay in such hands!

We’re not left to men’s devices
Though unbelief might prosper long---
We are in a time of crisis---
In testing times true faith grows strong.

The Word of God foretells such days;
Why should we act as though surprised?
If we let His Word guide our ways
We’ll recognize the truth from lies.

Believers know the final chapter---
Then Christ will implement God’s plan---
Look up!! watching for the Rapture---
The future’s safely in His Hands!
