The Deception of False Shepherds Among Us
Jeremiah 23:2 Holman CSB -

This is the LORD's declaration. Therefore, this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says about the shepherds who shepherd My people: You have scattered My flock, banished them, and have not attended to them. I will attend to you because of your evil acts - the LORD's declaration."

There are "many" walking among us, preaching on television, internet, in writings in books and on the radio far too many "false shepherds" who are leading their flocks into peril. They are not caring for their flocks, the one's they are suppose to protect and take care of adequately. Instead they are stealing from them, teaching false doctrines and abusing the Word of God in ways the unknowing sheep to not understand. They are teaching a gospel that is meant to "tickle the ear" of the lost and unregenerated man and woman. They are lying to you so that you will "come to believe" that there is no sacrifice in giving up your old way of life to live for Christ.

Guard yourself from false shepards, believers. It is YOUR responsibility to read the Word of God, the Bible, to know it, to understand the truths of God and to live them. We must stop allowing abusive shepherds who use the flock to gain wealth, fame and fortune to take advantage of us. (The object of the ministry is to reveal the truths of Christ, not to make yourself and your lies compromised truths...making people believe that worship and praise of God is all about how we feel. Worship of the Lord God is a time when we should be broken and humble before the Lord...not a time of singing and dancing and having a church part hour as we let our emotions run amuck.

Unknowing Christians, we must not fall into the "silly and foolish" belief that church is for us - and the Lord wants us all to live in a state of euphoria and bliss. Believe in Christ is understanding that the blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the remission of our sins.
Sin is ugly. We are ugly before God until we believe in Christ are are cleansed by the blood of the Savior. Christianity is not a feel good faith, it is a faith that understands that an unmeasurable sacrifice has been made so that we can be forgiven our sins and wrongdoings. Christ is the only way our sins have been forgiven, once and for all,l stop being deceived and live humbly before God and practice simplicity while seeking to live the examples of Christ taught while here on earth. Lastly, know this, we are NOT equal to or the same as God, we never have been and we never will be. To say we are gods within ourselves is to lie and surely it angers God. We are the one's created by God, not the one's who did the creating.
