He shall be called
Immanuel
God with us
on earth He'll dwell.
We went astray
He saved us still
though we failed
this was God's will.
The word made flesh
lived with man
to show the world
He understands
for we do not have
a Great High priest
who is not familiar
with our desire for peace.
But our God
knows our needs
and with His son
He intercedes
Immanuel
forever with us
Immanuel
the God of love.
