Sometimes as I walk the narrow path
I get to looking down at the stones
Then I see my weary feet
Kicking dust upon my aching bones

Now my toes are blistered and cut
I can go no further today
I stumble and bumble upon a rock
Just in time to hear someone say

"Take my hand for I know the way
You're weak but I am strong"
I reached out and was lifted to HIS arms
We almost floated along

This is the way it always should be
Though my feet were blistered still
When I put my trust in the Master's hand
He helped me dance right up that hill

It seemed like such an impossible mountain before
With my eyes on the cutting stone
But after I lifted them to the mighty ROCK
It became a delightful path to His throne!!
