Psalm 123

I will look to God, who is in the heavens, for this is from where my help comes. From He who made the heavens and the earth. I will keep my eyes on the Lord, and in Him I will take refuge. He will not leave my soul empty. The Lord laughs at those who wish me harm, for He knows their day is coming, in which He shall hold them in contempt.

The Lord is in His holy temple. His throne is in heaven. His eyes see all that goes on and He keeps His eye on those who fear Him and hope in His mercy. The Lord's eyes are open to the righteous and His ears hear our cries. Our God is in heaven and He does whatever He pleases.

Just as the eyes of servants look into the hands of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so to my eyes look to the Lord my God. My eyes are ever toward the Lord. He shall bring my feet out of the net when I am tangled in this sinful world.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, for the world does not properly respect You. Teach us to not follow down the path of those who do not know You, and those who are proud.
