Baby I’m sorry I hurt your feelings
I’ll do anything to dry your tears
I never told you I didn’t love you
Love doesn’t stop after all these years.

I didn’t complain about all your shopping
Do you think I care about the money you spend
Baby, I just want you to be happy
You’re my wife as well as my best friend.

I haven’t complained about your soaps
It’s good you’re learning from watching TV
There could be some educational value
And some comparison to reality.

Sweetie I never criticized your cooking
Your TV dinners are perfect every time
I needed to lose those few extra ounces
And now look at me I’m looking just fine.

I never said a word about your snoring
I’m satisfied in bed watching you sleep
I did promise you peace and harmony
That’s a promise I that I intend to keep.

Baby I know our marriage is not perfect
But never think that I would stop loving you
Next year when it gets close to our anniversary
Drop me a hint or give me some kind of clue.
