He indeed has witnessed your every mistake,
and he had already told, what was at stake.
So your time of innocence, has long ago past,
and now any moment may be your last.
There have been many paths for you to wander,
and many more choices in life to ponder.
And important is was, the decisions you made,
because for a wrong one, must your joy be paid.
And such a very foolish chance we take,
when the step of disobedience, do we make.
For very dangerous it is, to go astray,
and for his helpful directions, to disobey.
Because he has warned, that the pit is deep,
yet closer and closer to the edge you creep
And all in the name of just having fun,
but the next false step, may be the last one.
And it is not even worth, just a little peek,
for it will make life start looking bleak.
But now so many times this you've done,
that already that steep slide, has begun.
And now you continue to slip and slide,
until the time, with such horrors will you collide.
But know that the Lord your God, is not cruel,
for in his love, does his mercy rule.
And if you would be wise and take his hand,
he will pull you back, and help you stand.
