Look around summer’s green is gone
She gave way to Autumn’s song
The leaves are turning, dying to fall
Windy days and nights sweep them all

Remember now when I'm gone
Sing to God this Autumn song
There’s beauty in the leaves
There’s beauty in the leaves

When it’s almost time to go
When it’s almost time to leave
There’s beauty in the leaves
There’s beauty in the leaves

Seeing you leave like this hurts so deep
I don't wanna eat and it's too hard to sleep
But joy shines in the midst of mourning
As you gather the strength to sing:

I finally said goodbye to my faithful friend
