One day while with our our Grandson, Grandpa went to the store to get them icecream. The little guy turned around asked me, where is your husband. I laughed and explained that my husband which is your grandpa, went to the store to get icecream for you. He looked at me and kinda laughed and sayed they are two people, your husband and my grandpa.
Was wondering how did the sweet child know what the word husband meant.
He came to visit us one day (they live out of town) and asked where are my children. His Dad and I laughed and explained to him, that the yound man in the chair across the room was my son your Dad. He said, no that is not really right. He is my dad, now where are your kids. We went into great detail as for as we could to explain his dad was a little boy at one time and has grownup. That settled that for awhile and then he told me I quess I will grow up big and tall like Dad. We told him he would grow every day and be a strong smart young man like his Dad.He said will if I have too I will. End of conversation. Out of the mouth of a 3 year old.
