my lovely bride

I see your tearstreaked face
I see your mournful eyes
don't try and hide behind
fake smiles or disguise.
I see the depths of you
I love you all the more
you are my precious one
the one worth dying for.
For better or for worse
in sickness and in health
through laughter and through tears
in poverty and wealth.
My bride, you'll always be
draw near, so near to me
I love you forevermore
the one that I adore
Come and be mine
we'll walk side by side
my beautiful, beloved bride,
