Do you notice how often it is that we refer to God as in past tense often, especially when we need His help, the one who did miracles in the past in the lives of the Israelites, the one who made a way where there appeared to be no way, the one who parted the red sea and took Daniel out of the lion’s den, the One who was seen in the flesh and he walked Live with the disciples.

This is wonderful; to remember and think about how He worked in the past, to be encouraged of His might and power of old, but one must not forget the fact that He is also the God of NOW and TOMORROW?
Most importantly, now; because we live in the NOW and are looking forward to and always planning for TOMORROW.

We must begin to appreciate Him more in the present and relate to the awesome things that He is still doing in the lives of individuals and whole nations, the way that His prophesies are unfolding and His word being made manifest as we speak it daily and in every second that passes.

It is so easy to get carried away in the past tense about the story of the parting of the red sea and the walls of Jericho falling down flat just by the shouts of people of faith in THOSE DAYS , doubt sets in that it may not be feasible, especially in modern day problems and scientific chaos of our time that it could not happen live and direct that MANA could just start falling from the sky like snowflakes as a main dish and to top it all Roasted chicken or grilled quails as a side dish specified to order.

As wonderful and encouraging the stories of the awesome manifestation of God in ancient times are, we must not be switched off the focus on the many parts that make up our God:

TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER

Once we remind ourselves and listen more for His voice in today’s context, seeing Him in the leaves, the soft wind, the hurricanes and tornadoes(Yes, Those too, but He has promised that no evil shall come near our dwelling place, so you can decree in those tumultuous situations), see His hand in that situation that you just cannot explain how they turned around for the better when you thought all was finished, quit giving explanations or analyzing sudden solutions as your quick thinking or giving a human being around you the glory because he would not help without a nudge from the most High in your direction.

Many unexplainable and mysterious things happen even in our world now that the so called intelligent minds of the scientists have been put in confusion and wonder.

How about the brother in church who gave a testimony of amazingly having been cured of a terminal disease or the lady next door who mysteriously received an answer to her prayers-of-need in the post or through a stranger on the street.
Even great men of God and famous pastors have wonder FULL things happen to them personally that they are brought back on track to remember that ALL THE POWER BELONGS TO GOD AND HIM ALONE.

His mercies are new every morning; He is
