Certain people do not care about doctrine anymore
We are being told that for the sake of unity,
doctrine should not be tested or contested—
This sounds very noble but is it reflected in the Bible
Paul said, “The time will come when they [the people in the church] will not endure [tolerate] sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

Today many teachers tickle the ears of people
They perform on stage—speak in a loud voice and so
Preaching for many has become the art of theatre
Many pastors do not preach from the Bible and as a result, they produce congregations
That will trust the fallible words of men over the infallible Word of God

The mistake is a simple one
Jesus is being disguised in order to make the
Gospel that He preached less offensive
Jesus said, “The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that its deeds are evil” (John 7:7)
Today many preachers try to cover the deeds of the world
James wrote, “Whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God” (James 4:4)

Our enemy is trying to weaken the Gospel message
Because the message of the Gospel saves the lives of people
We must stand up because certain people do not care about doctrine anymore
We are being told that for the sake of unity,

Many pastors do not preach from the Bible and as a result, they produce congregations
That will trust the fallible words of men over the infallible Word of God

Let us do the right thing.
