AFTER LIFE

Life’s worries start with tear drops
They sprinkle life’s highway
But remember as we travel in sorrow
God will wipe our tears away

If you have lost someone precious
I will tell you what I know
God is in charge of resurrections
You will see them again I know

So rest easy in his care,
Walk a narrow path
Because there will be a great reunion
When all life’s sorrows are past

There will be a heavenly city
Where we will celebrate and dine
There in that heavenly city
Where King Jesus is the light

The wedding supper is ready
And you’re invited to attend
A table is reserved in your honor
To have supper with the King

Your table is spread in splendor
Special guest are all those who surrender
The invitation was sealed with a stamp
By the precious blood of The Lamb
