This is a very sensitive subject but Jesus and Paul
Dealt with a lot of sensitive issues
Cremation does not have a bearing on salvation
People do it today because it is cheaper…
In certain Asian countries it is a normal practice but
The Bible is always the basis for any action
On certain occasions God threatened the godless people with fiery judgment
(Hosea 8:14, Jeremiah 17:27, Amos 7:4)
In the book of Amos 2:14 the Lord said “Thus saith the LORD; For three
transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.”
Here we see God’s displeasure with a certain ‘action’
Israel also used fire to sacrifice their sons and daughters to the demon god Molech
(Deuteronomy 12:31, Ezekiel 20:31, 2 Kings 16:3, 17:17, 21:6, 23:10)
Scripture does not endorse cremation but the reality is that it will continue!
Our Government does not endorse abortion but the reality is that it will continue
However it is important that we understand our Government’s Policies
As citizens of Heaven; Saints should not follow cremation
Jesus was not cremated but He was buried
God buried His Son in that particular format
The way a body is disposed of must be important
Because the Bible records the conversation that took place between
Michael the archangel and satan about the body of Moses (Jude 9)

Thank for your comments. The poem about cremation was written in God's love and has really nothing to do with judging anybody but it deals with the reality in the 21st century."Cremation does not have a bearing on salvation". This is an important point so there is no judgment in the aspect on the part of salvation. More people are cremated in India than anywhere else because it is part of their tradition and it is cheaper than a normal burial. This is reality in our present economic crisis and so more people are opting for cremation than burial but our Saviour God made sure that He would be buried rather than cremated. It must be noticed that the Romans did not only crucify people but they also burnt them...and one should not feel convicted but we must know what the Bible says about cremation...that must be our guide...Thanks.
