Poetry
When I am feeling lonely
Or just a bit depressed
Jesus is right there for me
And He gives me all His best
When my friends no longer see me
And they all stop coming by
Jesus comes to be with me
He is right there by my side
He helps me through the hard times
And He wipes away my fears
Yes, Jesus is my best friend
He has been through the years
He has seen me through the trials
And He has kept me from all harm
He has given me eternal rest
In His loving arms
I praise Him for His mercy
I praise Him for His grace
And I can't wait until the day
I see Him face to face
