When Israel was out of Egypt, the

Lord brought them to the Mount

Sinai and the Lord God Himself

came down in the thick cloud with

the loud trumpet on the Mount

Sinai. The whole mountain quaked

violently and the people said to

Moses, "Speak to us yourself and

we will listen; but let not God

speak to us, or we will die.". So

the Lord God said "I will raise

up a prophet from among their

countrymen like you, and I will

put My words in his mouth, and he

shall speak to them all that I

command him." - Deuteronomy

18:18.

The Word became flesh, and dwelt

among us, and we saw His glory,

glory as of the only begotten

from the Father, full of glory

and truth - John 1:14

People of Israel approached the

Mount Sinai with great fear and

even Moses said "I am full of

fear and trembling." But when

Jesus came down to earth no one

feared. Poor and rich, sinner and

righteous, educated and

uneducated everyone could

approach Jesus. He was truly God

became man and lived as just

human, son of man.
