This Load That I Carry
This load that I carry,
Is really not that bad.
This load that I carry,
Is not a burden that makes me sad.
This load that I carry,
I carry it each day.
This load that I carry,
Really helps me along the way.
This load that I carry,
I pick it up each morn.
Every time I kneel and pray,
My Lord loads me down!
Loads me down with benefits,
Benefits no one else can see.
The benefit of mercy,
That has pardoned me.
The benefit of His Spirit
That leads me through the day.
The benefit of knowing
That whatever comes my way
My Lord has loaded me down
With every thing I need,
to bare my cross
And gain my crown.
And shout the victory!
