Dear Father of All Creation
Blessed be Your Holy Name

Thank You for allowing us a tiny glimmer of your kingdom in heaven, yet only You know what awaits our eager eyes once there.

Help us to do as You wish--knowing that You would never forsake us, though we often forsake You. Help us to stretch out the hands of compassion for our fellows-never forgetting that You have asked for it. That we extend the same love towards our brothers and sisters as You have so freely given to each one of us.

Thank You for the provisions You make for us, and forgive us for our complaining. We forget that anything we have comes from You, be it large or small, and that You provide to each according to his or her need.

Please forgive us our sins, and through Your lovingkindness, help us to forgive one another. For not one of us is righteous, not one of us is perfect, and there is nary a one anywhere who would be found fit to sit in judgement.

Only You are worthy. Not one of us is.

Help us resist temptations, which come upon us all in different ways and through many means, and bless those brave souls who step out in faith with their confessions, for those confessions help others resist. Though they may not know it, another's failures can be the strength through which another mistake is avoided.

Keep us safely in Your care-that we may endure with honor the seasons of our lives and that we may bring new sheep into the pasture of life.

Thank you Jesus, for being my greatest friend, even when I don't deserve You.
