The Flow

Let the joy of the Lord flow
Your timidity and fear let it go
Let your heart receive this gift
Soul laughter to give a spiritual lift

Laugh out loud, let it all out
No shame if led to jump and shout
Dance as David had once before
Celebrate for what God has in store

Stand or sit, rise or fall
Whatever you do, follow the Spirit’s call
Shake and shutter, signs and wonders
Showing that Hell is being torn asunder

God is too big for me to contain
So I share Him again and again
Filled up until it is overflowing
Through me the love of God is showing


Brothers and Sisters,

I don’t know if you have ever experienced when the Lord puts uncontrollable joy in your heart, but I have recently. My kids think it is funny to be outside the church and hear me laughing out loud.

My friend/brother in Christ and I have been blessed more and more lately with movements of the Holy Spirit. It started when we were both given the Spirit of joy, manifested in laughter. It was uncontainable (I didn’t want to even if I could). The funny part was that we were praying for that Joy to fall on our church. What we didn’t expect was God to pour it out through us.

This gift has been such a tremendous blessing. I find that it is also very contagious. I pray that it catches the world on fire. It wouldn’t have happened if we would have stifled the spirit out of pride and fear. So I implore each of you to let the Spirit flow and let Him manifest in you in ways that you may not be comfortable with.

By opening up to the Spirit we have been able to receive much more in our walk. We are receiving more revelations, guidance, and opportunities to take Jesus outside the walls of the church. It has even led to my partner leading someone to Jesus (his first). Because he stepped out of his comfort zone and entered into the Spirit.
