When the dark of night is over
And the sun's awoke from sleep,
When the morning stars have faded with the day,
When the night life runs for cover
And the glistening dew is deep,
Let us rise up from our slumber land and pray.

In the quiet of the morning
When there's no one else around,
When the bustle of the world is silent still,
While the sun is barely warming,
You can hardly hear a sound,
Seek the presence of The Lord and know His will.

There is nothing more fulfilling
Than the worship of The Lord,
When everything is stillness all about;
To the joyful heart that's willing
To arise and search His Word,
His great truths will be revealed without a doubt.

Let us rise up from our sleeping
And be welcoming the dawn,
To be shining out His light in every place;
For the true light in our keeping
Is at best when brightly shone;
May your light become a beacon of His grace!!
