good, though not as REALLY
good as the oven-baked
'Grands'.)

[LOVING SMILE!]

[PATIENTLY WAITING.]

(Sip some root beer.)
"So......what if....like,
you KNEW somebody
who didn't wanna hear
about JESUS....
I mean, if they
just got MAD
at the mere MENTION
of Him?"

[SMILE!]

(Burp.)

like the story of
JOB?"

[LOVING NOD.]

(Turn on the radio.)
(Hear somethin' about
the elections.)
(Roll eyes in disgust.)
(Turn off the radio.)
so....eh, HOW
is there some WAY....?"

[JOYFUL SMILE!]
"Yes?"

"Eh.....
(Take off second pair
of glasses*.)
(Squint at the computer.)
So, HOW could I
squish JESUS into it?"

[GENTLE CHUCKLE.]
"Into what,
My child?"

"Into.....Ya know:
into the Book of JOB?"

[SMILE!]

(Dab at doughy crumb
of Pillsbury microwave
dinner roll.)
(Give it to scruffy,
14 year old cat.)
"Is He IN there......
SOMEWHERE?"

[SMILE!]
"All you have to do,
My precious,
is look."
