The metronome of my life was set in motion by the Conductor,
I live out the rhythm of the song He has written for me.
At times, a minuet
At times, a waltz
At times, a crescendo of emotion and activity,
And then, a rest.
4/4 time matching the tempo of my heart.
Time is ticking away.
There will be a moment in time when my song is over.
No more minuet.
No more waltz
No more crescendo of emotion and activity.
Then I shall rest….
For a measure,
Until the music resumes, there on the other side.
