My daughter brought her two sons to see me this morning,prior to dropping them off at school.
Recently they built a house in a new neighbourhood. My grandsons are aged 7 and 5 respectively. The 7 year old told me what happened a week ago. He was playing in the street with other children. He decided to leave the street. A car was parked, the door open, a young man sitting in the driver's seat, watching the workmen as they were building new homes. My grandson, [knowing no better,] talked to the young man. He seemed friendly.My grandson then asked him if he could sit in his car. This he did. The young man took him for a drive. Then he took him back to the place where he met him.The driver gave my grandson two dollars. NOW, NOTHING UNTOWARD HAPPENED, THANK YOU, GOD! Of course my grandson relayed the message to his mother, who promptly took him to the police and my grandson explained what had happened, giving full details of the car. The police are seriously investigating this issue.
As my grandson told me, he said, 'Nana, I was afraid to tell you, in case you got angry with me'. I replied, 'Darling, I am not angry with you,then I looked at my daughter, and I said;
'I am angry at you and your husband for allowing this to happen!"
I know you have a beautiful, safe back garden in which the boys can play!I continued; Take this as a warning!
In the meantime I was thanking all the Angels for looking after him!

My heart was in my mouth and my tears were threatening to fall, but I kept stoic and made my message clear.
Anyway, off they went to school.
This afternoon, after she finshed work, my daughter dropped by, we spoke of the issue and she said;'Mum, I know this was a warning and I will not let this happen again'
Little does she know what COULD have happened, had the driver been a pervert!

That's my message for today-LOOK AFTER YOUR CHILDREN! THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED.THANK GOD FOR MY GRANDSONS, AMEN!

Oh Veronica, this makes me want to cry. Thank You Jesus ! How important it is to pray over these children and grandbabies. Why would that man do such a thing anyway ?
