TODAY AFRESH



Today afresh I wait on Thee

I come to Thee in prayer

I praise Thy name continually

I worship with You there

I never feel alone again

Since I have asked You in

You came into my heart to stay

And forgave me all my sin



I experience daily Lord

The provision of Your grace

And moment by moment am recipient of

The presence of Thy face

Sure I sin a time or two

But not to the degree as before

Your Spirit is swift to quicken me

To make my standing sure



In holiness you walk my God

And if I am to follow

My profession should show reality

And not be one that's hollow

My voice should ring of praises sure

For in Thy name I trust

Who can give one life again?

But He who says "Ye must"



Ye must be born again says He

Yield ye to the Master

He saith not these words in vain

But learn them all the faster

Be swift to hear and slow to speak

Speak Lord thy servant heareth

Nor of men am I afraid

Tis only God I feareth



I have that love for my fellowman

That he should see as I

And not be blinded by this world

And miss the Saviour's cry

Father forgive them

For they know not what they do

All hail the power of Jesus name

I trust you'll praise Him too!
