Hi. Did you know you’re not alone? Did you know that even in your loneliest moments, you’re not alone?

I know you feel alone sometimes. Last night you cried yourself to sleep because you felt there was no one there for you.

You woke up at 3 a.m. to use the bathroom and when you got back in bed, you couldn’t go to sleep. You just laid there. You began to think back over your life, seeing all the opportunities you missed to have someone special lying there beside you.

“What happened,” you thought. It all seemed to make sense at the time when you told this one and that one that you didn’t see how they could fit into your life as your companion. You tried to let them down ever so gently, but in the end, the result was always the same—you wound up feeling alone.

You’re much older now. The years have come and gone so quickly, and you’re wondering if you’ll always be alone.

Here’s the truth. You’ve never been alone and you never will be.God is always with you—even in your loneliest moments.

“I love God, but I also need somebody here who I can see, hear and touch,” you might say to yourself. “It would be so nice to have a person to share my life with—somebody to rub my back when it needs it, to listen to me, to help me pay these bills and to be my partner for life.”

Guess what. God knows what you need, and he gives it to you all day every day—money, time, comfort, health, protection and so much more. Most of all, he gives you love—a love deeper than you could ever receive from another person (in a worldly sense).

In time, God may manifest himself as a human companion for you. But until you begin recognizing his presence spiritually, you won’t recognize him when he enters your life physically.

Embrace God and all of his goodness first, and you will feel his presence in your life in every way. You’ll never feel alone again.
