Fiction
Mary became weary traveling back from Bethlehem on the back of a donkey, with baby Jesus. Joseph, seeing that his wife grew tired, determined to get her away for awhile. He hadn't a chance to be alone with her and the baby ever since His birth. Joseph led the three of them atop a high mountain. There it seemed as though all the world could be seen.
The were multitudes upon multitudes that had followed them from Bethlehem. The crowds respected their privacy and stayed at the foot of the mountain, far down below.
As Joseph held his wife and Child close, the heavens opened the sunset sky, and the angels began to sing. The thousands of people below joined in, singing praises to God, and bowed to worship the newborn King. As the yellow, ember, and violet sky melted into night, their was peace on earth that day.
