Sweet Hope
by
Ehsan Elahi Ehsan
Sweet hope, come to me
My smiling and weeping
My waking and sleeping
My sowing and reaping
Is nothing without you.
Sweet hope, come to me
And please let me see
Yours lovely and attractive face
After my daily strife
I want to see my tired life,
Into your lovely lap
Wherein do I fined
A consolation of heart and mind
To tell me of the coming days
Full of peace and heavenly rays
Which move to me with silent steps
And play with me with all their pets.
