People are always looking for ways to make a contribution to somebody, someplace, or something. There are hundreds of organizations that are purposefully set in place for folks to get involved in helping make better the life of a person that lacks the information or tangible resources to live.

Then there is the place where people can donate to for the benefit of assisting a group or mission in accomplishing the vision of their company by offering others the opportunity to participate in their various events.

And finally you have those things that were produced from ideas that become products that people can purchase to take part in affording someone less fortunate then themselves new experiences such as them being given a gift.

Although these are the typical normal ways that people tend to get involved in, there is another avenue that is made available to you every single day. Today you can decide to be the answer to someone else’s problem on your job.
Today you can be the listening ear for someone who needs a person to talk to. Today you can bring the right attitude to the discussion at hand when everyone else has brought the wrong one.

You have the choice. The cards are in your hand. You decide the temperature in your environment today. There’s a saying you can either be a thermostat or a thermometer. You are in control of your own decisions. Don’t just come and go.
Decide today to leave an imprint on the hearts and minds of those around you.

Make such an impact today that if this was your final show those that you have inspired today would be hollering aloud encore! You’re not to just drift through life cruising in and out of each situation that you find yourself in as if it had no meaning. Nor are you to have the mindset that I gave my penance for today as if you were doing the people around you a favor.

Interrupt a would be hectic day with a kind word. Be a change agent today wherever you go. Finally as one writer so eloquently put it “let your light so shine before mankind that they see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.” Each day you have been given this charge. Let go now and live.
