My heart feels so encouraged this morning. I opened my bible this morning and there in Micah 7:18 was my encouragment for today. I hope those of you who read this will find like encouragement and joy in remembering this:
From the New Living Translation - "Where is another God like you, who pardons the sins of the survivors among his people? You cannot stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing mercy."
I think my prayer for today is that God would have mercy on America. It seems to me that we are drifting so far from the value system God laid out for us and that people are running in an opposite direction from God. I pray God will grab America's attention and that we will realize how far we are straying from the Lord.
