Do you ever feel attacked? Wounded? It is because you are. Satan wants a hold on you. Every wound, every hurt that is allowed to fester gives Satan a foothold through bitterness, self-pity, resentment and pride. Your soul soon becomes infected and begins to die.

The good news is, Christ came to heal the most broken hearted. I was (and to some extent still am) one of you. Satan wants you broken. He knows you are invaluable to the Kingdom of God. If you as the salt lose your flavor due to bitterness, how will the world taste Christ? If you as the light become darkness through hatred, how will it see Him? You are important my friend. More important than you know. If you weren't why would you be so attacked?

Combat the Devil. Make decisions for Christ. Let your life revolve around the Son. Let the world taste the flavor of His love through you. Let it see His light, the Light of Life by your joy. Honor Him in your choices, your time, your money, your heart. It is not easy. I would be lying if I said it was. When you wake up from the spiritual dead, your life will be a war. Be prepared to be persecuted, but in the midst, know He is holding your hand. Make sure you count the cost, but know it is so worth it.

The Lord who made you, who knows every detail of your life is waiting, waiting to know you. Waiting for you to seek that you may find. Waiting for you to knock that He may open the door.

The world is dark my friend. Will you be light?
